Delicious food, great drinks. We tucked ourselves in a corner and had a great evening. Employees were super kind and offered great suggestions. Humor too! Huge selection of whiskey, great mixed drinks too.

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars. While the meat had a nice smokey flavor, it was on the dry side. The Mac n cheese needed some hydration and flavor, it was a bit dry and lackluster for me. The collard greens were great! A bit spicy, very flavorful. The broccoli and cabbage were just okay. The baked beans were good. For the price of $60 for a sampler platter, I was expecting tender meat, so I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm not sure if we would go back, because Fishtown has a bunch of great restaurants.

Food is delicious and consistent and it's something different from most other places around here and that's what's great about it. They do soul food right. I like the cornbread collard greens burnt ends, roasted pork, ribs, and the bake mac & cheese all excellent.

Fette Sau made for an ideal destination on a rainy Memorial Day. The dimly lit atmosphere complemented the soothing sound of rain on the tin roof, creating a relaxed and spacious setting perfect for unwinding after a hearty BBQ meal. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The sandwich elevated the brisket with fresh bread and house sauce. The collard greens, with a hint of spice, balanced the richness of the meal nicely. Overall, if you're craving BBQ, Fette Sau is a must visit!

7 of us went on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and it was excellent. Great bbq menu and everything we ordered was delicious. Other things that stood out were the well stocked bar and friendly staff. Also the restaurant had a lively/fun/upbeat atmosphere. I was a bit concerned about parking, but it was not an issue as we found a spot directly across the street from the restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

This is amazing BBQ - fantastic pulled pork and brisket plus delicious Mac and cheese. Very cute rustic vibes, a full bar, and great happy hour deals. You have to be assigned a table at the hostess stand and then go up and order food yourself, and then pay at the bar, so a little clunky but totally worth it for the food.

Food was top notch. Another can't miss Stephen Starr place. Barbecue places in the north east are rare and good ones damn near impossible to find. This is a reliable place that has excellent food, a top notch bourbon list and ample room to eat on the inside.
